Workshop Dates
The workshop will be held during summer 2012 to train high school teachers in Alice and to support teachers as they develop curricular materials to be used in their classrooms. This workshop is being offered through a grant from the National Science Foundation. In addition to instruction in Alice, the goal of the grant is to develop a community of Alice high school teachers in the state of South Carolina.
- Workshop : June 11- 15 and June 18 - 20: College of Charleston, Charleston SC
Workshop Format
The content and format for each workshop will be identical.
Week one, Monday-Friday: Alice Training
Week two, Monday-Wednesday: Curricular development
Funding is available for first time Adventure in Alice Programming workshop attendees.
Only high school teachers teaching in South Carolina can be offered the stipend.
